  The OKHL is designed for passionate hockey players who are looking to continue their love for the game throughout the Okanagan.  
   We've teamed up with ASHL 
offering a shot at Nationals for all levels of play.
   Throughout the season, games will be recorded and streamed with local commentary, prizes and endorsements from local businesses throughout the Okanagan.

Team Deposit fee   $1000

What the OKHL Offers​

 

OKHL Men's Hockey

Competitive and non-competitive divisions designed to match three different skill levels. Players can register as a full team or individually to be placed on a team.

OKHL Women’s Hockey

Dedicated women’s divisions providing a competitive and supportive environment for female players across the Okanagan.

​

HWY97 League

A unique city-vs-city league connecting communities along Highway 97. Teams play one home game and one away game each month from September through May, finishing with a regional tournament.

​

OKHL 35+ Hockey

Specialized divisions for players ages 35+, offering games same day every week, designed for players looking for a fun and social hockey experience.

​

Co-Ed Hockey

Fun and inclusive co-ed divisions where men and women play together in a balanced recreational league environment.

​

Masters 50+ Daytime Hockey

Specialized divisions for older players, including 50+ daytime hockey, offering weekday daytime games designed for players looking for a fun and social hockey experience.

​

Drop-In Hockey

Organized drop-in sessions with balanced teams and structured games for players looking for flexible ice time.

 

Tournaments & Events

Seasonal tournaments and special events, including the Okanagan Cup for both the OKHL and HWY97 leagues, bringing teams together from across the region.​​

Stat Changes: If you need to win a bet with your teammate and didn’t get with that goal or assist, please have your Team Rep e-mail your League Manager with a stat change request.

League meetings will be held between August 10–26, to prepare for the upcoming season, review league operations, discuss team participation, scheduling, sponsorship opportunities, and expansion plans.

 

Meeting locations include:

 

  • Osoyoos

  • Penticton

  • West Kelowna / Kelowna

  • Vernon

  • Salmon Arm

  • Kamloops

 

These meetings are open to current and prospective team representatives, players, sponsors, and community partners interested in being involved in the upcoming season.
